Discover Venice Presbyterian Preschool
From the Beginning
The Venice Presbyterian Preschool began in 1979 as a vision of, our then minister, Rev. Bryan Z. Kile. The Preschool was formed to fill a need in Ross and the surrounding communities, to educate three through five year old children and prepare them for Kindergarten. Since that time, we have seen our students grow to adulthood and return to us, bringing their own children to our school. Venice Presbyterian Preschool remains Christian Oriented, implementing prayer, Bible stories and Christian music, along with a well-rounded educational curriculum.

Students must be potty trained and 3 years old by August 31 to attend
We have a 2 day class on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $103 per month. Many parents choose to send their child to the 2 day class for their first year to ease them into going to school. We also offer a 3 day class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for $122 per month. There is a $20 nonrefundable registration fee. Our student hours are 9:15-11:45 am. Parents pull up outside and the teachers come out to the car to bring the children into the school. We begin bringing students in at 9:05.
We start out the day with time in our classrooms - this is our "work" time. Each class has a maximum of ten students. We practice writing our names, read stories, do activities to work on letters, numbers and other kindergarten readiness skills, etc. Students have a snack. Then the classes all rotate through 3 areas - Music and Movement, Art, and Free Play, before it is time to pack up and go home.
Venice Presbyterian Preschool Mission
Our goal is to prepare students for entry into kindergarten in a Christian, small group environment. We are concerned with each child’s total development, including cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects.
